It gives me great pleasure to announce to you all that North Dakota is now officially the 16th state to License Naturopathic Physicians. Now we only have 34 more to go!!!! Of course, New York is one of them and at the top of my very own to-do list. With Lobby Day in Albany approaching on Tuesday, May 17th I want you all to know that I am working overtime with the other board members of the NYANP to do what we can to make this our most successful Lobby Day ever. Successful to me means a NYS license and ultimately insurance reimbursement for all of you. If you are interested in coming and being a part of this event please contact me. It is very powerful to have my patients there to share their stories with the legislators. I welcome you to share this event with me as we fight to make our goal of licensure a reality!!

I think it’s great that you are working toward NY getting a license for Naturopathic physicians. It’s so important since most of the general physicians do not know much about nutrition or alternative medicine. Thank you for all your efforts.
Thank you Dana. It is a tough fight and even though I will be moving to Tucson I will be continuing on as treasurer of the NYANP and lobbying for licensure in NYS for us all!!!
